This International Cornea Update took place in November 2020 and brings together two cornea experts from either side of the Atlantic. Chris Starr discusses Managing Dry Eye Disease/Ocular Surface Disease in the Pre Operative Setting and Damian Lake addresses Ocular Surface Reconstruction. The session concludes with David Lockington joining the two speakers for a panel discussion and taking questions from the audience.

(s.5) Practitioners will have an awareness of treatment options currently available, both OTC or POM for the treatment of blepharitis and dry eye disease, in patients awaiting surgery.

About The Panel

Mr David Lockington is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology, Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, UK with a sub-specialist training in Cornea, Cataract and Anterior Segment.

Mr Chris Starr is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Mr Damian Lake is a Consultant Ophthalmologist, the Lead Corneal Transplant surgeon and clinical director at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
