In the UK there is an estimated 7,300 new cases of retinal detachment every year and many patients will present with flashes and floaters to Optometrists in the primary care setting. In this lecture Mr Balaggan provides a detailed overview of the most common peripheral vitreoretinal disorders (PrVDs) and provides practitioners with a greater understanding of the most appropriate management options for their patients.
