Mr Indy Sian presents this lecture. Corneal perforations are ocular emergencies with a myriad causes such as trauma, infection, autoimmune diseases, and loss of corneal innervation. It is important that Optometrists understand the various risk factors for corneal perforations and how they might present in their practice. As these presentations can sometimes be sight threatening, Optometrists should know how they are diagnosed, the management considerations and when and how quickly they may need to be referred to ophthalmology colleagues.

This recording is accredited for 1 non-interactive GOC CPD point for Optometrists.
