This panel discussion brings together 4 experienced Independent Prescribing Optometrists, who each present a case study from their clinics. The panel consists of Mr Colin Davidson, Mr Mike Horler, Ms Thurka Sivapalan and Mr Matt Roney. They draw on their experiences to discuss the patient management options and outcomes.

This webinar provides valuable insight into practicing with an Independent Prescribing qualification for Optometrists, Optometrists considering IP qualification and to those who are already using their IP qualification in practice.

About The Panel

Colin Davidson is an Independent Prescribing Optometrist at Sussex Eye Hospital, Brighton where he is part of the medical retina and A & E teams. 

Mike Horler is an Independent Prescribing Optometrist and Consultant Optometrist in Medical Retina at Sussex Eye Hospital, Brighton.

Matt Roney holds diploma qualifications in both Independent Prescribing and Glaucoma and currently works as a Specialist Optometrist at Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust, specialising predominantly in Glaucoma and Eye Casualty. 

Thurka Sivapalan is an Independent Prescribing Optometrist who specialises in the management of glaucoma and medical retina conditions at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and Sussex Eye Hospital in Brighton.
